Signature Template

  • Below is a template.  Its dimensions are in it.  You can fit whatever you want in that space.  its it dont fits its to big.  Keep in mind you might be on a 17 inch monitor but I am on a 15 inch laptop, so what is on one line to you is on two lines to me and thus stacks up.  So if you have to, screenshot your signature and paste it over the template or paste the template over it (just to test its size).  I gave you another 1/2 inch.  3 inches needs to be the max height.

  • I am not saying this in any way to offend anyone, so please don't take it that way.  If the pages take a long time to load, you can disable other ppl's sigs from showing in your profile settings.    :-*

  • i wanted to bring this back up to everyone's attention as we have many sigs onboard right now that are WAY beyond these parameters.  they're lovely, but they're way too big, folks.  please check yours and re-size them if necessary.

also, a reminder about this to sig designers--when you're making one for PA folks, remeber to keep these limiters in mind.

  • Iceperkgirl, also if you put your codes for the items in your siggy right next to each other in your profile, the ones that you have will all fit on one line.  It looks like you hit enter to go down a line and then entered the next code.  That will  also help in the length of siggy areas.  You would just put [ img]www.xyz.com[ /img][ img]www.abc.com[ /img] etc.  Hope that helps too.

  • Signatures are getting a bit pushy on the template size.  If they are too big consider this your warning.  If your signatures start disappearing in the next day or two, this will explain why.  If you think its too big, than it probably is.  Your max height should be no more than 250 pixels.  So right click ur signature and do a "Properties" on it.  There you will see ### X ###.  The ### following the X is the height.  I have already send a couple of PMs to some of the more obvious offenders.  I dont wanna be mean, bad guy, but dont push your luck.  Thanks

  • Hi Lacey
A template is a guide showing the total area you are allowed to use for your signature. You can see the template size if you go back to the very 1st post in this topic you are looking at now. The one you have added is way too big.

A signature is the personalized pictures you see beneath people's posts. If you would like to request a signature you can do it in the Avatar, Signature, and Graphics Request Board located here and make a request from either HornsAndAHalo or karalot875.

Yes, you added it correctly and if you go to the New Member Contest Section located in the Welcome New Members board, you can earn PA tokens for posting that you have added a signature. But should either resize your siggy 1st or add something different that fits the template. The contest can be found here

  • I want to bump this up as we have some members, new and old, who are surpassing the area alotted for siggys.  We only require this to cut down on loading time for slower connections.  We all love our siggys, lets just be considerate about it.  Thanks!
