Found out about PA from someone in pogo. I did not know them but they mentioned it one day when I had asked about ranks for a game. Glad I found out! :)

I honestly don't remember lol. I'm thinking probably googled Pogo forums and checked this sight out and knew this was the best forum around :)

My story is similar to Jguy, I was asking about something pogo in a pogo game room (Tri peaks if I remember correctly during a badge) and someone led me here to get the answer.

I was playing lost temple poker for my premium badge and just happened to see someone mention a few sites for ranks etc, this was the one that really caught my eye with their being a forum and plenty to do :)

I was playing a game and asked about ranks and badges as well, I've been coming to it for a long time for rank and badge info and sent an email to PA about a ? I had (I think) and was told that there was no member fee so I became a member. Just want to say thanks to all of you who have had to help me (and some quite abit too), you are the best, I've been to a couple of different rank/badge sites and this one is the best with the nicest people.

I was in hangman highjinxs, complaining about next weeks challanges to my sister. I mentioned how pogomadness was about 3 weeks behind on their info, and someone named bit told me that was the worse site, I should try this one, so here I am.

I WAS a member of another pogo fan site, and things were chaotic there and too many boss's (site shall remain nameless), when I had enough, which didn't take long, one of the Mod's over there mentioned that there were other Pogo Fan Sites and the a guy named Little had a great one.  So, being the curious person I am, I Googled Pogo help and viola...there was PogoAddiction.  I can tell you this, PA has definitely got any other fan site beat hands down.  I wish I had found PA first, but I guess you have to have the bad to really appreciate the great.  What Little and all the others have done here is beyond remarkable.  Others may exist, but PogoAddiction has nothing to fear from them.  Thank you Little for making PogoAddiction the truly best.

I stumbled upon this site after another site showed their true colors.  I was shocked to see there was indeed a site that was friendly, easy to navigate and looks to be loads of fun!!  I am glad to be here and can't wait to get started!!

Someone on Pogo mentioned that there was a list of smilies available on PA, so I decided to check it out.  Then I got sucked in by PA's badge central.  I never really noticed that there was a forum (I was dazzled by the navigation menu on the left of the home page  ;D) until a week or so ago.  I haven't visited any other fansites, so I have no basis for comparison - but I love how much there is going on here!  I play the trivia quiz every day and can't wait for tonight's Mahjong social.

A big thank you to all the admins, mods, and everyone who makes PA such a fun place!   <3

newbie here.  i found this site on a search enigine.  from what i have seen so far, very nice site and nice people.  i also was a member of another site a while back and thats all that i will say about it.  things here look so much better.  thanks for letting me join.

I heard about PA ages ago in a game on Pogo. Someone mentioned it as a place to go and see badges/ranks and for a long time that's all I came here to do. It took me ages to actually join and walk into the forum world. I'm sorry I waited so long to do so, but I'm here now.  ;D

Welcome to PA, qtpa2t! You're right, there is tons to look through in the first week or so of being a member. I've been here some time now, and just saw this thread - go figure, lol. I browsed through many Pogo fansites before finding PA. A lot of them are not well organized, and don't seem to have near as much info, let alone the friendliness I've found here! After browsing through the forum a little, I decided to join, and here I am! Wish I had found it sooner, but I'm happy to be here now. A big thanks to the Admin and Mods who keep PA clean and well running - you guys are awesome! :)

Looking around there, I clicked a link to MyPogoSpace.com
On that page, there was a list of five Pogo-related sites, of which
PA was one.  I liked the name, clicked on it, and here I am! :)

Hi Friends, I actually found this site by total accident. I was looking to log onto a "myleague" site to sign up to play in comps, but all the letters in the string everyone was trying to send me was muddled..(guess pogo didn't want me to join..lol)..   to I tried to seach for it, and found you  <3

I found ya all by searching the web.  I used to do a news letter for a MyLeague I was in.  Did a Pogo search and found you guys.

It took me awhile to figure out that I would rather be here doing things then messing with hosting tours.

I spend way to much time here!!!  However, I just love all the badges, contests and most of all the new friends.

I found this wonderful site from being nosey. I was surfing pogo profiles for nothing better to do but check out minis(im not going to explain that any further) and by about the 50th time seeing this site listed I decided to investigate. And boy oh boy am I glad I did

i found this site thru player profiles.  if a badge mini catches my eye i go look at that persons profile to see what the actuall badge is & if it looks like something i really want to try for & after seeing the website listed on so many profiles i just had to check it out.  now i wouldn't dream of joining any other sites & haven't been to the old site i was a member of since.

I was in Thousand Island Solitaire and there was a couple of PA members in there and they were working on a badge and I asked them what badge and they told me about PA and I came to check it out and now I can't leave. You all might want to kick me out eventually. But I am glad that I joined. Now I am passing the word on to my other friends.

finally convinced me to sign up and send angel a rock! rofl...i had no clue till about 3 days later what

Was a member of another Pogo Addict site, it was way too confusing so I only went there occasionally for updates and pogo news.  Then they added a link to mypogospot.com so I figured "Why not?"  Well once I joined I notice I had new friends - one of which was LittleOne.  I'm the curious sort so I checked out the profile...saw the Pogo Addiction PAples group...checked that out as well...and well, now I'm hooked.  This site is very user friendly and I hope to makes friends and have a good time with everyone.

Actually, my wife told me about it. I was always curious as to how many games needed to played to reach the next rank of various games, and thats how I ended up here

Ok - I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I have a question regarding recommending the site to new people. I think it would be really nice if you invite someone to join and they do, that person that invited them should receive something in return. Like some kind of incentive. I don't know if you already do this or not but if not I think it would be a great idea. Thanks for listening and maybe you will have an answer for me.

Nan, I think there is a PA token reward for recommending someone to the forum. The person who you recommend just needs to introduce themselves in the introduce yourself thread and mention your name.

I found PogoAddiction from a Search Engine. Specifically, Live Search at that time. Yep. I believe I was praying for a list of in-game badges/ranks/help and such. This was the first link, and I am so thankful! I'm pretty new to using forums, but I'm happy to discover the joys of them with this one. :-)

i found PA thru a search engine. I typed in pogo, and just went thru all the findings. And Im very happy I stopped in and decided to stay! Thank you for a qonderful forum and for all the work and fun you all put into it. And I am grateful for the people I have met and friends I have made. Everyone is just so kind and helpful.And the socials and contests that go on are so much fun! I may not be good at all of them, but it sure is fun trying to do them!!      <3

I heard about it on Pogo. I was in a room and someone said that they had read something about one of the games I was playing. They then were asked by other people in the room what the site was called and they typed in PA. I got very curious and checked the site out and the rest was history so to speak for me.    :Love:

Hmm,  didn't realize I had never taken this poll.  I had been playing Hog Heaven slots,  and just couldn't wait to find out what the pigs were going to look like next, so I went searching for rank information.  Low and behold! There was PA!

I found this site in a similar fashion.  I had earned the seahorse badge (rank 2 I think) in Squelchies and love it!  I wanted to see what some of the higher rank badges look like to see if that would entice me to play for my next badge.  And....I found this site, and the info.  

Although I have to admit, while I love all the Pogo information here, I was blown away by some of the artwork that you folks have in your siggies!   A few years ago I belonged to an (unrelated) group and many of the members there had similar talents with PSP, and had offered some tips if I would get the software.  Right as I was ready to order the software, the group shut down.   :(  

So...I'm looking forward to talking Pogo as well as perhaps talking a bit of PSP as well.  ;)

It was my daughter who actually found this site.  It was around the time that Bloop had come out and she wanted to get the secret badge.  She must have done a search and come up with PogoAddiction.  She showed me this site and we were able to get the secret badge.

I too found PA by mistake whilst looking for a badge site. I am so pleased that I have as I really enjoy joining in with the different things going on on here, which has also helped me to increase my ranks in the games on pogo as I haven't been a member there that long either.

After reformatting my system, i was trying to get my favorite sites back in; when thru the search engine i typed Pogo sites, marked the Pogo site, and found the one i was looking for; marked it.  Then i also saw this site, and came over to check it out.  And just that quick, became a member. :tu:

I am not even sure how I found this site, but I will tell you how I found it... AGAIN...

I nearly never check my email. I log in every couple weeks or so just so my account stays active but I don't read anything lol

SOoooooo... I finally decided since I was near my max storage in my inbox alone to clean it out... there was a few emails from this place talking about things going on and such... lol I was like hmm no idea what that's all about... surely since I managed to get banned by 3 other forums already I might as well check and see if this one is still working lol... sure enough, even tho I did have to reset my pw I had never posted even tho I joined in 2006  :o What the? lol As I sit here thinking about it, I think it had something to do with another forum that had crashed big time and it was the LittleOne that is ever so smart that was called in to rescue the place and I figured that if he was the one rescuing, then his site must be better lol but... I'm not sure if that was it or not lol

At any rate, I am here, but afraid because I am very vocal about unfairness and my definition of fun does not involve perverseness and intestinal gas which for some unknown reason got me banned from 1 place lol.

I think the reason I found it was because Manic Monday screenshots now have to be done in the same room and I happened to go into Evil Evil Penguins in Penguin Blocks because I liked the name, and bumped into a few PAers discussing their challenge! Was intriguing to say the least  :o

I also found it by looking for Pogo fan sites on a search engine, I loved the fact it had a rank tracker for all the games and albums.  It has come in handy, now I always know my rank progress in every game and album.  I have just started becoming more active within the forum and utlizing the site more as well as getting active in the Pogo Addiction badges. This site is awesome and I am so glad I found it!  :tu: >:D

Like everyone else, I too found Pa in a search engine. I signed up about a year ago. But for some reason I never got active in Pa.
But since i will say Oct I have been doing more.I am so glad that I found Pa. The ppl on here are just awesome and wonderful about helping you out if you dont know what to do.
