I agree this has gotten out of hand what happens to those people that just hit the play button and end up in one of those rooms not knowing where they have been put I have done that before and I don't look to see where i went. It is a bad all around

I've heard about problems going on with the sharing rooms. I don't see much point of the rooms if people are calling before the 70th ball.

I consider myself lucky yesterday afternoon. I went in one of the rooms after I got all my weekly badges done, played 4 games and all games had bingo called on the 70th ball. I was rather surprised by this considering there were 40 or so in the room at any given time. Yes there was a lot of bickering, but for the most part people were cooperative. But I don't expect full cooperation if I go back in the rooms.

Well now - I should be good and keep quiet, but!!!

I personally do not care for bingo.  However, when a room is marked for "sharing" - I say share.  In that case the person not waiting I feel is wrong.  I understand that POGO has no rules there, but I would say politeness.  If a game is not marked "sharing" - then I want to play and be the first to get BINGO.  I think the "sharing" players need reported for the way they carry on and not the ones that play the game the right way.

I would think knowing that you are going to get three bingos every game, what fun is that?
To me, the "sharing" idea is similar to "cheat" programs.  Why even play?

time to chime in with my 2 pennies worth. if you go to a room that is labled shar by pogo then it is only fair to play that way. at the same time all the cry babbies that play in normally rooms that cry because we do not share need to play normal or go to the rooms pogo made for them. I personally do not share as stated by others here I am sure what point is there in a game if everyone wins what fun is that? there are winners and loosers that makes a game

Okay, here's my 2 cents worth. IMO, these sharing rooms are more a mess now then before these rooms came out. I personally like the "teamplay bingo" thing, but it seems like pogo maybe shoulda thought this out more, cuz no matter what, there is GONNA be that one "bad apple" to spoil the barrel. I just don't see what it's worth to come in a piss off a room full of people when there is a TON of non-sharing rooms. I feel the same way about these leagues that come in and use the sharing rooms to host their tourney's. I see no logic there either. I know that the rules don't state that you "have" to share but why label the room as a sharing room if it's not that?

Coming Soon: Changes to Bingo Luau!
By Staff | August 28, 2007

Pogo is delighted to announce some exciting new changes for our Bingo Luau game! For Bingo Luau players that play in the Sharing rooms, you will be glad to know that in an upcoming build, the game will prevent players from calling Bingo before the 70th ball. This change will ensure that all players in a Sharing room will be able to share.

For Bingo Luau players who prefer to play Bingo in the traditional way, the same great game will continue to be available. In addition, we are closely analyzing the token payouts to ensure that Sharing and non-Sharing rooms provide players with the same average number of tokens.

These changes will take some time to be implemented, tested and finalized. As such, we expect these changes to occur in mid to late September, barring any unforeseen technical issues.

-----------------------------------

Quite honestly, I can't believe pogo is doing that to this game. I have nothing against or for sharing, but it's that kind of setup that would make things a little bit easier to get all the ranks. I suppose they make things too easy, I will take the easy route.

I figure there will be even more demand for those sharing rooms, unless theres more rooms than there are now it really be hard to get unless the backdoor entry is utilized.

I personally will stick with the traditional rooms. Sharing is not bingo, its token giveaway the slow way.

I agree with you whole heartedly Kiki, everyone is entitled to play BL or any game the way they want without hearing things like sharing is cheating.
But I did get a kick out of Pogo saying mid to late Sept., I am hoping by Christmas.  Another Pogo soon, if you ask me and I will be surprised if it is done by then.  Some one mentioned that to change the game code to that it would have to go back to Beta, I guess Little might be able to answer that question if will or not.

I don't care about sharing and not sharing, I go with the flow of whatever room I end up in. It's just ridiculous how worked up people get about this. The thing I have a problem with is Pogo catering to the whiners. What kind of a precedence does this set for future games?

They do seem to be caving in to whiners more and more. Witness the nearly monthly changes to badge challenges from the origional. Guess they have to make the masses happy but I think the whiners are a (loud) minority. The sqeeky wheel gets the grease yet again   :yaddayadda:

Bingo Luau is ridiculous.  There's a handful of sharing rooms and the "sharers" have come out of the woodwork.  And they are the abusive ones to people who just want to play bingo.  And for what?  So they can get a rank a few minutes sooner?  It's complete BS.  Taking away the need to actually get a bingo EVER to advance ranks has made it so simple already.  These self-righteous asses need to shup and just play the game.  If they can't squeeze into the allotted rooms, they have no right to try and force their method upon the rest of the rooms.  And dats all I got to say bout dat for now!!   <3

Where do I start?
I for one am a sharer and not because of the token count, that i could give a care about that.
All i care about is the daubs. all i want is the dang spin so i can get to rank 20 and move on.
Being that bingo isn't called till the 70th ball i am able to get all 75 balls covered. By doing this I am getting a spin every game.
Now to address those who hit play now and end up in a sharing room. Do you ever stop to look up to the top of your game screen?
it clearly says:
 FROGCAZY23 in Bingo Luau> Blackout > Applesauce!-Sharing!.
For those that come into the sharing room to just do it is plain mean and should  be reported if they do it over and over. Now iam not one of these people who go and report people unless they are calling me names. I don't even try to get in the mix of it. I might every once in awhile say XXXXXXX did you know that this is a sharing room? and thats all i do. most are people who keep coming to a room to be an asshole. and thats all i have to say about that.

So the extra number or two are going to get those ranks so much faster?  That's what makes me laugh.   Suck the life out of a game and make it about just sitting and daubing numbers to get a badge SO much quicker.  Perhaps the rooms should be divided according to those who like bingo and those who only need another badge to hide away.  This isn't directed primarily at you frog.  Your post just shows one of the attitudes that make bingo less fun.  As long as you don't hassle me for playing bingo, go for it.

However, you can't get a spin every game.  The max per game is 75 daubs and it takes 100 to get a spin.      ;)

i really think we ought to wind this topic down before we get carried away.  i don't care for the name calling, no matter who does it.  people have a right to play whatever way they choose.  pogo has the right to cater to whomever they choose.  this is so not a big deal.  it's a game.  those who want to share, go share. those that don't, don't.

in my mind, the concept of sharing in regards to getting a badge or rank quicker is no different than using a glitch or double-browsing to advance in those same ranks or tokens.
