It will have the following tabs:
Regular Games, Speedy Games, Super-Speedy Games, Three Cards, and Blackout
It looks like there will be some type of team feature with it as well as "Color" based bingos. As in Yellow Bingos, Red Bingos, Green Bingo.... the cards are different colors, and this will be used for future challenges. so you will have to get X amount of bingos on a red or yellow or whatever color card.
It sorta has a "tropical beach" theme, with some tiki's and toucan birds, and the play boards look like beachwood.
It does have ranks in it, but the ranks currently dont have names, and I do NOT know if this game will have game rank badges. Nothing indicate that at this time.
Rank Badges:
Luau Lady Badge (Rank 10) - Earn 100 Rank Points
Gopher Bingo Badge (Rank 20) - Earn 300 Rank Points
Happy House Badge (Rank 30) - Earn 1000 Rank Points
Terrific Tiki Toothy (Rank 40) - Earn 2000 Rank Points
Man in the Moon Badge (Rank 50) - Earn 3000 Rank Points
RELEASE DATE UNKNOWN!
The Basics
Bingo Luau is easy to play: As each number is called, find any matching numbers on your cards and click them. A daub (also known as a mark, or a stamp) will appear over the number, showing that you've successfully marked the number. If you make a mistake, you can click again and the daub will disappear.
The goal of the game is to mark enough numbers to match the pattern in the upper left, before anyone else does! This pattern is also highlighted on each of your cards. For patterns that have multiple solutions (like "Any Line"), all potentially valid squares are highlighted.
After the first person calls bingo in a game, there will be 5 Extra Balls drawn to give everyone else a chance to get Bingo. Extra bingos are worth less tokens, but they still qualify you for the Team Bonus.
Anyone who calls Bingo during a game has a chance to earn the Team Bonus. Whichever card color had the most bingos earns the Team Bonus for anyone who called bingo using that card. For example, if there were 3 Red Bingos, 4 Green Bingos, and 5 Yellow Bingos in a single game, the five people who called bingo with a Yellow Card would earn the Team Bonus.
At the beginning of a game, each player has the opportunity to predict when the B1 ball will be drawn. If you predict correctly, you earn a token bonus. If you predict incorrectly, you lose nothing, and can try again next game.
At any time during the game, you can click on the My Daubs button, and open a display of all of your daubs. Pick the color and shape that you enjoy most. Club Pogo players can collect more daubs as they gain rank.
Note: Players only earn tokens and Jackpot spin progress if they are present in the room at the end of the game. Players can only join a game before the first bingo is called.
Game Play
Everyone starts with a set of 3 Bingo cards. These cards will have highlighted squares that match the pattern for the current game.
B1 Prediction
At the beginning of a game, each player has the opportunity to predict when the B1 ball will be drawn. If you predict correctly, you earn a token bonus. If you predict incorrectly, you lose nothing, and can try again next game. The later predictions are worth more tokens because they are less likely to occur. If the B1 ball doesn't get drawn in a game, no prediction bonus is awarded.
Called Balls Table
Every time a number is called, that number will be displayed at the center of the screen. The five most recently called balls will appear to the right of the Called Balls table.
The Called Balls table shows all the balls that have been called this game. The current ball appears in green. The four most recent balls appear in light orange. A ball that has been called sometime this game is shown in off-white. Finally, a ball that was called while the game was paused appears in blue.
Marking Your Bingo Cards
A letter goes along with each number to help you find the numbers on your card more quickly.
Letter B: numbers 1-15, left column on your Bingo cards.
Letter I: numbers 16-30, second to left column on your Bingo cards.
Letter N: numbers 31-45, middle column on your Bingo cards.
Letter G: numbers 46-60, second to right column on your Bingo cards.
Letter O: numbers 61-75, right column on your Bingo cards.
The numbers can appear in any order within a column, but the numbers 1-15 will always be in the B column, numbers 16-30 will always be in the I column, numbers 31-45 will always be in the N column, etc.
The square in the center is labeled "FREE", and you can mark that square at any time.
If you move your mouse over a number on your bingo card, a faint shadow of a daub will appear on the square if that number has been called this game. If you join mid-game or get distracted, using this technique will make it easier to catch up.
Claiming Bingo
If you match the pattern, click on the Bingo button for the card that has the match. This will register your Bingo claim and confirm that you correctly marked your card. If you submit an incorrect Bingo claim, you will receive a warning and the game will continue. If you submit three incorrect claims in one game, you forfeit all tokens and spin progress that you would have earned that game.
If you call the first bingo on the same ball as someone else, the token award is shared among everyone who called bingo on that ball.
Extra Balls
After the first person calls Bingo in a game, five extra balls are drawn to give everyone else a change to get Bingo. A bingo called during the Extra Balls phase is worth less tokens than the first bingo of the game. Even if multiple players call bingo on the same extra ball, each player is awarded the full Extra Bingo token value (unlike the first bingo value, which is shared among everyone who calls the first bingo.)
Pausing Numbers
Since Bingo is a group game, you cannot actually stop the game from continuing. If you want to step away from your computer for a moment, you can use the Pause button to dim the screen, mute the sounds, and track the numbers that you miss. When you unpause, any numbers that were called while you had the game paused will be colored Blue in the Called Balls table.
Ranks:
You earn rank progress by correctly marking squares on your bingo cards. Even if the square isn't in the pattern, marking it correctly will help you make rank progress more quickly. For every 100 correctly marked squares, you earn a Spin. You can check your current rank progress by clicking on the red Rank lamp in the upper left of the game screen. Spin and Rank progress is tracked from game to game, and session to session.
There are a total of 50 ranks in Bingo Luau, and each one awards a new daub for your daub collection!
At any time during the game, you can click on the My Daubs button (in the upper left of the game screen), and open a display of all of your daubs. Pick the color and shape that you enjoy most. You can change your daub mid-game and it will instantly appear. You can only have 1 daub active at a time.
In addition to the daub collection, there are 5 rank badges you can earn in Bingo Luau. The badges are given out when you achieve ranks 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50.
