think of the possibility for contests!! being able to gift Mix-and-Match badge challenges makes my heart dance!

I think this is a fantastic idea. It would be wonderful for brownie accounts that will be used for the Halloween social the Pink Ladies put on in the future.

EXCELLENT idea, definitely the best since gems came out - and i wasnt even around for that, so this is a long time! I can't wait - this will add much incentive to a lot of things..and i like how you can gift regular mini items too. very cool

Oooh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! I've been wondering about that... especially for mini items & the odd mix'n'match badge. Love that this will be coming out! Great way to help friends, especially if they're looking for a mini item that's no longer available that maybe someone has & doesn't want. I smell a new PA board for that.

don't bust your nose smelling. it would appear that you will only be able to gift items that are available for purchase in the Mini Mall, not those you may have stuck in the back of your closet, alas.

I might still be living in a bit of a dream land, but I do hope that pogo does listen to our suggestions still, so maybe down the road, if they've heard all the chatter about regifting from your own closet, they'll add that as a feature too. I'm not completely in fairlyland though, I'm sure that changes will be another year in the making, haha, but maybe some day.

I've gotten tons of things I thought I'd love when bought, and haven't touched now in yrs, lol, would be great to be able to make use of them again.

I accidentally bought an outfit twice, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. We should be able to sell it back at half the price we bought it at least.

Yea, the gifting feature is a wonderful idea and it's just in time for the holidays. WTG Pogo!! Some of my non club account tokens have been spent on mini items for my Club account, others will be used to gift friends.

It appears that this may also be a way for some of those who are in countries that can't get gems to still get the discounts after a fashion and obtain some items they'd wanted.

This is great, except you cant Gift Premiun books to ppl.. ive tried & tryed. But i agree with Pooh, wsh they had a delete button to get rid of some items i dont like. But wtg to pogo for putting this out.

sure you can--we've always been able to gift premium albums. only difference is with the new gifting, you can pay for it with your gems. the gem discount is always nice.

Tks KIKI, but it wont even show a Premiun album that i want to gift to my sister in law. Its an older book , called Solitaire, something. sry my mind went blank lol I no u have 2 use gems, but they are only showing certain books. I cant get da 1 i want & its not the new one.

Solitaire Playland is no longer available.

the retired list also includes Badge Bonanza, Card Masters, I Heart Badges, Loyal Friends, What's Your Sign, and Word Game Adventures.

Weird thing is that several of the Albums including Solitaire Playland are listed as being released in 1969 - well before I ever got my first computer!

I can wait for the discount if pogo has the badges down to 10 gems and get a couple gifted for my main account.

I noticed when I activated a subway pass on an alt name it got 20 gems. Is this normal for names to get 20 gems? I'm thinking about burning off the coke rewards on other alt names to get the badges gifted when the time comes.

i noticed the same thing when i put that 14-day pass on my brownies--some of them had 20 gems, and some weren't the ones i put subway codes on. i don't know why or when it happened, but i think my troops are in a giving mood!

I bought a mix & match badge for myself. After i bought it i wanted to buy it for my mother as a gift but it wasnt there any more. I guess once you buy it you cant gift it to someone else. I was wondering if you give a Mix & match as a gift first will it still be there for you to buy?

i've purchased many of the same badges as i own as gifts for others. make sure you check the "Include badges I've purchased" box.

Did you know that you cannot gift a Mix and Match badge or an album that you already have? They simply won't come up for you to purchase as a gift. Also, you are limited to only 4 gifts at a time. For example, when I bought the new album I was limited to gift that album to only 3 people. Then the album was no longer available.
The same with the badges. Supposedly Pogo is working on this issue. Well, I saved a lot of money.

I think for you to be able to gift a badge you already have, you have to check the "include badges I have purchased" check box on the upper right.
