The original "Cajun Queen"

Which are you more addicted to: Pogo Badges, Pogo Tokens or Pogo Minis?
I am addicted to the games on Pogo and the badges are an added bonus.

How long have you been a member of Pogo?
I've been a member of Pogo since since 2000 but it didn't join Club Pogo until 2003

What is your "crowning achievement" on Pogo?
I would say my crowning achievement would have to been completing almost all the word games. I'm a word-a-holic and read the dictionary when bored.

What is you most favorite Pogo game and least favorite Pogo game?
My favorite game(s) is the Word Whomp series. My least fav is the Daily Word Search, it doesn't challenge the brain enough to my satisfaction.

Have you met anyone personally that you've met on Pogo?
Yes, I have met and hung out with two of the nicest women on Pogo who made a trip to New Orleans for business and since that's my home town, I drove to met them there and served as their tour guide to the city.

How did you find PogoAddiction and how long have you been a PA member?
A pogo friend suggested P.A. a few years ago when I asked questions they could not readily answer and once I visited, I was hooked. It's my favorite choice to learn everything Pogo.

What do you do first after logging into the PA Forum?
I enjoy reading the postings and their responses. You can learn alot about games you are unfamiliar with.

What is your favorite aspect of PA?
I love the "Hints and Tips", especially when a badge is involved from a game that I don't like to play.

Has being a member of PogoAddiction changed your game play at pogo? If so, How?
It has changed my trivial pursuit game playing. Before P.A. started posting the answers, my perfect score game was few and far between. Now I get a perfect game score everyday. Thanks!

Do you have any siblings? I come from a very large family.
I'm the baby of 12 (10 girls/2 boys) and at last count, there was 60 grandkids, 65 great grandkids and 7 great-great grandkids in my ever growing brood.

Have you travelled or lived outside of the U.S.?
While serving in the Army (and being an Army wife), I have lived and worked in Germany, the Netherlands, Korea and many different states. Now that we are retired, we can travel to all the places we never had time to enjoy while serving.

What do you like to do outside of Pogo and PA?
I enjoy flower gardening and solving cryptograms while relaxing in my new hot tub.

What is your favorite food and drink?
I enjoy mango rum with V-8 mango juice so I can get the recommended vegetable serving while getting my drink on.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would go to the Netherlands the second week in July to enjoy the Northseas Jazz Fest

What is the fondest memory of your childhood?
My fondest childhood memory is the day my father showed up at the baseball park to see our family team win the local softball championship. He was too busy working as a long shoreman to provide for us and never had time off to watch us play. He died shortly after but I'll never forget seeing him in the stands. We played extra hard that day and no one stole a base since I was the catcher.

Who is your hero/heroine?
My parents were my heros. They were both hard working, highly regarded in the community and kept us all in-line and out of jail. Since their passing, my children are my heros, they had made me very proud, each in their own way.

Do you have any hobbies?
Gardening, cryptograms, hot-tubing, web-surfing and my new Wii

Which would you rather drink, Wine or Beer?
Neither it's either mango rum or Crown Royal

Tell us more about yourself and your family.
I gave birth to three of my own kids, raised 2 that came with the hubby (a 26 yr. Army Vet) and we now have 4 grandkids and all the kids live in different states so that gives us a reason to vacation to 5 different states.

ah, a woman who appreciates a good drink and the beauty of words!  the dictionary is a great read, even if the plot line is a little thin.  did you know "keek" is a verb--i have been known to partake in semi-regular keeking.

you sound like a woman of many interests, thoughts, and feelings who will only flourish as the years spin by--my hat's off to you.  and o!  i just took a keek at your profile--mr hellman and i scored some excellent quality LPs this past weekend at a  garage sale.  got some fabulous pressings of jeffrey osborne, luther vandross, teddy pendergrast and others, all in excellent condition.

i'm bringing my records and the rum--you get the V8.

Congratulations AT for being chosen for the Member Spotlight.

I enjoyed reading your interview.  While I haven't read the dictionary, I can imagine that it could be quite interesting.  When I was a young girl and ran out of reading material, I always turned to the encyclopedia.

Congratulations on being in the member spotlight. It's always interesting to read more about people
This site is awesome at providing substance to our biggest addiction.
While i've never read the dictionary growing up we had a word of the day that continued to my own kids.
WTG on finishing the word games! That's quite a feat.
Enjoy your time and i hope to see you around the boards or in a social if you're so inclined.
