~ Since April 2004
2. You have 5 minutes to talk with Pogo's head person.
~ First I would have to commend him (will use the generic "him") on the wide variety of games that are offered and tell him that I'm very impressed with how well the site generally runs. Then I would ask about upgrading some of the old games to make them better and to add ranks (hearts and cribbage come to mind). And since I can talk fast when I need to, I would then ask that they do some challenges in different games (both for the weekly badges and the premiums). Most of us are getting really tired of the same ones (and basically the same challenges) over and over again. One game that comes to mind for some challenges is Crazy Cakes - it's been out for almost a year and there's been one mix & match and one special badge.

~ 1362
4. Who introduced you to Pogo?
~ I was surfing the web (back in 2002) trying to find some online games to play. I played on a site back in the 90's called Imagination (talk about pricey! It charged by the hour). It closed down and I enjoyed playing the games. I needed a new fix!
5. If you could offer more choices for Pogo Tokens, what would they be?
~ I'd really like to be able to purchase some premium items (both badges and minis) with the tokens.
6. Who is your most favorite pogo character, and why?
~ I'm partial to Bob in Penguin Blocks. He's just funny the way he grins when you do well getting the fish. Always make me smile.
7. Do you play mostly for badges or fun?
~ It's really both. The games are fun and the badges are a fun way of tracking progress and having goals in the games. But, most of the time, it's the journey - I buy the premiums and play those, but if I don't have one I'm working on, I have certain games I just like to play.
8. What is your favorite new game on Pogo?
~ Even though neither is that "new" now, I have two favorites that are fairly recent - Mahjong Safari and Everyone Wins Bingo.
9. What one thing (memory) stands out to you about PA?
~ The absolute warmth and acceptance from all the members. They're all so encouraging when trying to reach a goal and sympathetic when things aren't going well.
10. How did you hear about PogoAddiction?
~ After I got Flaricka hooked on Pogo, she introduced me to PA. I used to mainly lurk on the homepage to see the upcoming challenges. I'm glad I finally made the jump into the Forum.
11. What was your favorite PA contest?
~ I love all the various contests, but my favorite so far was Dog Days mainly because that's the first one that I did when I stopped lurking and started participating. Those were nice challenges to get me started. I think I've participated in just about everything since I started (even the ones like hockey where I have no idea what I'm doing!)
12. What one bit of advice would you give to newer PA members?
~ Come to the socials!! Those (and Dog Days) certainly got me hooked. PA just has the best people (staff and members). I wish I'd known PA members when I was working on some of my badges!
13. What do you do in your free time?
~ What's "free time?" LOL. If I'm not on Pogo or PA (and I'm at home), I like to read, play the Sims2 and watch some reality TV and sports. Other than that - I love to travel.
14. Have you ever won anything on Pogo?
~ Right after the gems were introduced, I won 5 on a jackpot spin.
15. What's the most exciting thing you have done?
~ I lead a pretty quiet life, but the most exciting thing that ever happened was hitting 5/6 on our state Lottery. That was a true shock!
16. You can do one thing to change the world, what is it?
~ This probably sounds like a Miss America answer, but I would like to see all people live in harmony (both in the US and around the World)
17. What is your Favorite snack?
~ Anything salty! (chips/dip top the list)
18. A magic PA genie grants you 3 wishes. What do you wish for?
~ Health (for me and my family). Good luck (for those casino trips). Time/resources for my husband and I to take our dream vacation
19. Tell us about your dream vacation.
~ I'd love to take an around-the-world cruise with plenty of time in every port to explore. Then I'd finish it off by visiting all the states and seeing all the interesting things I've heard about.
20. How would you describe yourself?
~ At first, pretty quiet. Once I get to know someone, I open up a lot more. I try to treat everyone with kindness but sometimes my dry sense of humor gets me into trouble.
