Has anyone noticed a glitch in the game or am I just not understanding what you have to do to get the trivia wizard badge?  I looked on my stats and I have 454 perfect questions answered, yet I have no trivia wizard badge... do you have to press the 'show answers' button for it to count?  Or is it just answering correctly before the game eliminates an answer for you?
 :D I'm such a badge monger.
not sure silent but I was wondering the same thing  lol
I have answered 454 too actaully and still no badge ???

The same thing happened to me -- I was at 453 or 454 perfect answers, and still no badge. But then the next day when I played I got it, so hopefully the same will happen for you.

Does anyone know of a way to end the game early, but still keep your progress? I have to do a lot of the "daily 40s" and once I earn the wedge the second time I get bored doing the second half of the questions for only 10 tokens. However, if you hit main menu, you don't get that pie wedge.  Maybe I'm being too fussy, but I'd love to be able to end the game early without losing the wedge.
I don't need money, I've got credit cards.

I know I'm a bit late in this thread, but has anyone else noticed that there are like days and days of all sports questions? I'm not that big of a sports fan, I like my football, but I'm not old enough to remember what happened in 1960 or 1970. The actual history questions I get ok, and most of the others - but this sports and leisure stuff is just making my eyes glaze over. :N

I've also noticed that with the US/Canada game I have to replay about 4 out of the 7 days in a week, sometimes more. However - the UK game I have to replay 1 maybe 2 days out of the 7. The UK questions seem easier. I know some of the UK questions are repeats from the US/CA game, but still.

This appears to be only in the UK news section, but I did see an article about the making of Trivial Pursuit. Interesting that they timed the release to the game show, which is in danger of being canceled as it is consistantly getting ratings between 0.5 and 0.6.

I had no problems doing both sites today Eric.  I'd suggest trying again and make sure you go into a different room.

This posting is still in Pogo Customer Support:

Question
How can someone have a rank of '10' in Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 when the highest rank I can reach is '6'?

Answer
To quickly increase your rank, log into the UK Pogo site (http://uk.pogo.com) and play Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 there. The UK version of the game allows you to earn two pies each week instead of just one.

Whatever is happening, Eric, it must be a temporary glitch, or else Pogo would have pulled this.

thanks paint and FLC!

I could only do one side yesterday but I do have the wedge for it on both sides. Also the one from the day before on the US side still won't save as done.

This is from Letters to the Editor....

Trivial Pursuit Broken?

I am writing to let you know that when I tried to play today's (Dec 17) game, it indicated that I had already played today's game!

The thing is, I have not actually played today's game! To my knowledge, no one else has access to my account, as I do have a password that no one is likely to think about, with some CAPS mixed in!

I am letting you know this just in case there was some kind of mix-up or malfunction.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Editor: Thanks for the letter! We've received quite a few complaints that something is amiss with Trivial Pursuit. We have our engineers looking into this right now, and hope to have this fixed soon.

I had the same problem and then today... instead of Daily 20 I found it to be Daily 11 on both the US and UK sites. I DID manage to get the US wedge without having to replay though  :2funny:

My Dad and I do both the US and UK trivias and compete to see who can get the wedge fastest. It was weird with the "daily 11" today instead of the usual 20. Hope that's not going to become the norm - it was much harder without the leeway of 20!

is this an old support question?? Because I am rank 12 and i've only played the US trivia.. if its not an old question than I suppose playing random quizzes counts towards rank too, although I don't recall playing that many random quizzes.. hmmm didn't know playing there went towards your rank though so thinkin i'm gonna go visit the UK site now so I can get next rank badge lol
