Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 is fun and easy to play. Simply start an episode and answer the questions when they appear by clicking on the answer. Don’t delay though, every 5 seconds an answer is removed and the points for that question drop. The game uses thousands of questions from the original board game and when you answer correctly, you earn points. Collect points to earn a wedge. You’ll have to get 1100 points to get the wedge and if you do there are tokens and celebrations to be had! Unlike traditional Trivial Pursuit, the game is played by a single player and instead of moving a piece around the Trivial Pursuit game board, you move your wedge downward into the waiting pie. Earning a wedge will earn you a jackpot spin! Can you take it to the next level by earning all of the wedges in a week? If so you’ll score big on tokens, bonuses and ranks for Club Pogo players.

The game starts when one clicks the Daily Episode, the Calendar or the Random Game (only available to Club Pogo users) buttons. The daily episode and random games will launch the start of the episode so be ready. The calendar will let you select to play previous days or re-play days where you didn’t earn the wedge.

* Once you’ve earned a wedge, you cannot replay the episode
* Episodes can be repeated as many times as necessary to earn the wedge
* First time plays have larger token payout than repeat plays indicated by the token multiplier

Once you begin an episode, it is considered “played” so do not exit a game unless it is absolutely necessary as you will lose the potential “first play” token payout. Because this is a time based experience, there is no pause button.

Random games are only for practice and entertainment, tokens or bonuses are not awarded for Random Games.

In Trivial Pursuit Daily 20, You want to answer to most questions correctly as quickly as possible. Episodes are always 20 questions and you get one answer per question. If you answer wrong, you are alerted and the game moves on to the next question.

Players earn progress by answering questions correctly. The scoring schedule for correct answers is as follows:

Answer in the first 5 seconds = 100 points
Answer after 5 seconds but before 10 seconds = 75 points
Answer after 10 seconds but before 15 seconds = 50 points

“Double Up” Questions double the question values so make sure you’re on top of your game.

Questions will come from 13 popular Trivial Pursuit categories including:

* Geography
* Entertainment
* History
* Art&Literature
* Science&Nature
* Sports&Leisure
* Personalities
* Music
* Movies
* In The News
* Products&Progress
* People&Places
* Wild Card
To earn a wedge the player must earn at least 1100 points. Once 1100 points are earned, the player is awarded a wedge for that day of the week.

To earn a pie the player must earn 6 wedges in a week, earning a pie progresses rank, for Club Pogo players.

Calendar
The Calendar in Trivial Pursuit is used to show you what episodes you’ve won, which you’ve played, which are new and which are not (yet) available.

To use the calendar, click the calendar button and then select a day. When the day is selected, the episode will start.

You can use the Month forward and back buttons to step through months. You can use the wedge forward and back buttons to take you to months where you have not yet earned a wedge.

What is this badge for and why do only some people have it in their albums?

This was one of the games that I've asked Pogo to add about 2 years ago. I've always been a fan of trivia and the game Trivia Pursuit and while I find it a bit difficult to figure out how to make this a multiplayer game, I think the simple fact that Pogo is looking to add long time fun games to be an exciting time. Monopoly, Scrabble and now Trivia Pursuit... the EA side of business is making Pogo even that much better now.

I love love love Trivial Pursuit!  If this is indeed a deluxe game, I will definitely be getting it  :D

I wonder if it will be sort of like WordRiot in the sense that it is a team game?

I love most of the Trivial Pursuits versions. Our family plays it when we get together for holidays (very loudly) ... but the Baby Boomer version is HARD. Seems to me that a team game would be the easiest way to go.

Yeah, I love trivial Pursuit!!! And will fork over my $20 for it if it winds up being a togo game.  :ohyea: Happily. One the whole family plays together and now the hubby has to play, he hates board games but we can get him to play video board games, go figure,  :idiot: . Not sure if I'll ever actually rank up in this game since  a lot of times my winning is more about the luck of the question than my power of the brain but i'll be happy trying as will everyone else in my house, thank god we opted for the BIIIIG monitor. WTG pogo!!

And even though little says not too, ty Little, we bow to you  :Bow:

Do you know if this will be a down loadable game like Tri Peaks 2 or it will be available on site?

 :tu: to Trivial pursuit. Our family LOVES these games, which is why we have about 5 different ones here from the original, to the junior edition, to the DVD game, and a few in between. If it is one to purchase, I would hope it will take longer to get thru the ranks than Riot took. I wouldn't have minded the new God awful ranks in poppit, if it was a game I actually like playing.

I really hope it is not a deluxe game.  I really enjoy this game and don't want to pay for it.
